Can the interchangeable plates be used in any other brand toaster?

No.  The Pop Art Toaster toasting plates can ONLY be used in the Pop Art Toaster brand appliance and will not work on any other toaster.  DO NOT attempt to place the plates in any other toaster as this will cause a fire.

Can the toaster be used for other products besides toast?

Sure can. The Pop Art Toaster brands images onto all different types of toast, flat bagels, frozen pancakes and French toast, toaster pastries and even hamburger buns!

Can I use this toaster without the images?

Of course! The POP ART toaster is a high quality every day toaster. Simply slide the stencils out of the toaster and store away for every day plain toasting without images.

Is the bread really toasted enough to eat?

Of course it is. One side is partially toasted with the image and the back side of the bread or pastry is fully toasted.

Can the consumer purchase the Pop Art Toaster directly from LC Premiums?

What do I use to clean the interchangeable plates?

A damp cloth to wipe them down will work fine. Or, after excessive use they can be cleaned with hot soapy water or they are dishwasher safe.

What is the Warranty for the Pop Art Toaster?

One year limited manufacturer warranty for your pop art toaster.
(sales slip must be included with product.  Proof of original purchase date is needed to obtain service under warranty)

For one year from date of original purchase, we will provide, free of charge, a replacement toaster if the product fails because of a manufacturing defect.  

Product must be used in accordance to the instruction manual for use and care.  The following is NOT covered by the warranty:

• Damage to the product caused by misuse, accident, fire, floods or other unexplainable acts.

• Failure of the product if it is used for other than its intended purpose.

• Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects with this product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.  To know what your legal rights are in your state, consult your local consumer affairs office or your state's Attorney General.

To obtain service under this warranty, follow these instructions:

1. Call LC Premiums, Ltd. At 212-779-7814.  A representative will assist you.

2. If necessary, the representative will ask you to return the product and provide you with a return authorization number.  No product return will be accepted without this number.  You will then need to do the following:

   1. Package the product carefully to avoid damage - preferably in the original packaging.

   2. Send the product (postage paid) with original sales slip to:

My daughter loves the Pop Art Toaster!  Is it a toy?

No way!  Even though this is a fun and unusual toaster and kids are drawn to its workings, please please please keep out of the reach of children!  Its components do get very hot and can cause burns if not used properly.

There is smoke and an odor coming from the toaster, is this normal?

Yes, this is perfectly normal for the first few uses.

How much time should elapse prior to removing the plates?

Allow at least 3 minutes cooling time before removing the plates from the toaster. It is also always best to use the hook that was included as part of the toaster set or an oven mitt. If you should need to change the plates sooner than 3 minutes, you must use the enclosed handling hook.

Is it really safe to eat the toast or pastry once colored with the markers?

Absolutely! The markers are FDA approved, flavored markers specifically designed for foods.

Can we purchase the art plates separately?

We now offer some plate sets separately from the toaster. Please see the stencil image link on our website. Also, from time to time, certain retailers will offer exclusive image sets. Please check with our customer service department for details.

Can I get customized plates for the toaster?

In Fall 2007, we will release the chrome toaster with initialized plates. Please check back to our website for further details. For corporate purchases with a minimum of 300 toasters, please contact our office at 212-779-7814 for custom toaster programs.
