Layer Cake

 
 
  • Cake Batter

  • Frosting

  • Raspberry sauce (can be made by heating preserves)

Spray the 5-in-1 Tasty Baker with a non-stick cooking spray (like Pam).
Preheat the Tasty Baker at temperature level 3 with lid closed.
While preheating, prepare your favorite cake batter (we used a Duncan Hines mix).
When the green indicator light is on, open the lid and spoon the batter into the molds. Guide the batter into narrow areas with the tip of your batter scoop.
Close the lid and bake 5 minutes or until done.
Tip: use a plastic fork to loosen remove hot cakes from molds.

Repeat with additional batches of batter – be sure to preheat as needed.

Once cakes are cool, spread frosting between matching cake layers and stack cakes 2 or 3 high.
Drizzle raspberry sauce onto plate and place cakes on top of sauce.

Option: Frost sides of the cakes and decorate with small candies, chips or sprinkles. Try layering 3 levels; or make some cake layers chocolate and some vanilla.
