In the Pop Art tradition
of playing with you food, try this sandwich to
help keep your children at the table longer.
Toast your bread using your pop art stencil
plate of choice – we used the double hearts and
smiling sun.
On the fully toasted side of the bread spread
your peanut butter and jelly and top with 2nd
slice of bread, image side up.
Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich into 3 or
4 odd shaped pieces. Disarrange them on a plate
and ask your child to put the picture back
together. For a harder puzzle, turn some of the
pieces to the opposite side.
By the time the puzzle has been solved, you may
have had time to have a little lunch yourself!
